The following describes the terms that apply to participation in the Welcome to the Neighborhood promotion (the “Promotion”) offered by Newton Federal Bank, a division of Affinity Bank (“NFB”).

Eligible Participants: All customers with a coupon code when opening a Basic Checking* account are eligible for the Promotion.

You must be a U.S. citizen or resident and at least 18 years old. You’ll need to provide a physical address in the U.S., date of birth, and applicable identification documentation which may include a Social Security Number or ITIN.

All accounts are subject to approval and require a $100 minimum opening deposit. Regular account fees apply*. Only one Basic Checking account per customer is eligible for this Promotion. No account substitutions.

Promotion Period: The Promotion ends 12/31/23 11:59PM ET or at the Bank’s discretion, without notice*.
Bonus Qualifications: In order to qualify for the one-time $200 Promotion Bonus*, NFB must receive within the first 60 days of account opening at least one Direct Deposit into the account; within 10 days of account opening, a minimum daily balance of $1500 must be maintained for 90 consecutive days from the 11th day. (Direct Deposits are defined as deposits from a customer’s employer, payroll, or benefits provider via ACH deposit. Deposits that are not from an employer- such as check deposits; P2P transfers such as from PayPal or Venmo, etc.; merchant transactions such as from PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc.; and bank ACH transfers not from employers- do not qualify for this promotion.)

Payment timeline: Your Basic Checking account must remain open in order for you to receive the $200 bonus, which will be credited to the eligible account within 60–90 days after all qualifications have been met and will be identified as “Welcome Bonus” on your monthly statement.
